2024 Lent and Holy Week

Ash Wednesday – February 14, 2024 | 7:00 p.m.
Lent is a season of penitence, fasting, and self-reflection beginning on Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is a day to reflect on our mortal nature, confess our sins, and receive God’s grace. On this day, we recognize that, without God’s plan and the life and sacrifice of Jesus, we would not be able to -of ourselves- be fully reconciled with Him. The outward statement of repentance is in the form of ashes placed on the forehead during service.

Palm Sunday- March 24, 2024 | 9:30 a.m.
The first service of Holy Week is Palm Sunday. We remember the entrance of Jesus into the city of Jerusalem as he rode his donkey across palm fronds while being triumphantly hailed to shouts of “Hosanna in the Highest.”

Maundy Thursday – March 28, 2024 | 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of Maundy Thursday is to commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples and reflect on the importance of humility, selflessness, and service to one another signified by Jesus washing the feet of his disciples. This special evening service will begin with a shared supper at 6:00 p.m., followed by a Eucharist service at 7:00 p.m.

Good Friday – March 29, 2024 | 7:00 p.m.
It was through the death of Jesus that mankind is able to receive salvation. Because of His love for us, He willingly died in our place so that we could be forgiven and join Him in everlasting life. It is on Good Friday that the Church reverently observes the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Join us at 7:00 pm to hear the story of Christ’s sacrifice for each of us.

Easter Day – March 31, 2024 | 9:30 a.m.
A glorious day filled with beautiful music to bring glory to God! It is on this day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and his victory over death for all who believe in Him, and honor Him as their Lord and Savior. We come together as a community to celebrate what God has done in our lives.  The service will start at 9:30 am.

To get the full Easter experience, participate in as many of the services as you are able. The Spirit of God will move you in unexpected ways, and we would love to share the gift and sacrifice of Jesus with you!
