Choir

Our choir consists typically of 10-12 members, all volunteers. We strive to augment our church services with uplifting and relatable music (both traditional and contemporary) that we hope will enhance worship. We are led by our part time music director, Tony Leva, a graduate student at WMU, studying choral direction.

In addition to organ and piano instrumentation, three of our members provide guitar accompaniment. For special occasions, we may add brass or woodwinds, typically provided by our friends at WMU. Also, on special occasions, we are graced with the participation of two highly talented alums who add a touch of “professionalism”.

Come join us! No special skills are needed – you don’t even have to read music! The only requirement is a love of making music and enjoying the fellowship of singing together. Choir practice is once a week: Thursdays at 7pm, in the conference room on the church’s main floor.
