Serving

Serve With A Smile

St. Timothy’s parishioners can be found serving both inside the church building and out in the community.

At church, adults and youth serve together during worship through acolyting, altar guild, music ministry, Eucharistic ministry, prayer leading, reading, and ushering.

Others give the gift of service on Sundays and during the week through teaching adults and children, caring for our youngest in the nursery, preparing food and providing hospitality, providing stewardship of our financial resources, caring for our beautiful building and grounds, showing care and support for each other in times of need, serving on our church vestry, and many other tasks.

If you’re already on a serving team, please see this month’s Serving Schedule.

Out In The Community

Our social ministry leads us in outreach to our greater community and the world. We pick up two sections of roadway through Adopt-A-Highway and help with the ministry at Open Doors in Kalamazoo. This year, our goal is to provide safe drinking water through Clean Water for the World.

Our youth and adults participate in mission weeks, and St. Timothy’s members can be found in the community serving in many ways.
