Christian Education for Youth
Youth from preschool through high school gather for weekly Christian Education on Sundays during the school year. We use the Weaving God’s Promises and Living the Good News curricula as the basis for our classes. Children’s Chapel students (preschool through 2nd grade) meet during and after the service, joining the congregation for communion. Older youth attend worship, where they serve as acolytes and readers, before meeting after worship for discussion, crafts, Bible learning, and fun together. As part of their Christian education, youth participate in service projects and special events throughout the year. Confirmation classes are offered on Sunday evenings for high school students.
Sunday adult education offerings include guest speakers from the community after worship, and an adult Bible study. Groups meet for scripture and/or book study, conversation, and prayer during the week. A regular book group meets on a weekday evening.
